South Carolina CPA, Tax and Accounting Practices Wanted for Purchase or For Merger

I’m an accredited investor with cash. I have budgeted $1.0M total to purchase one or more virtual bookkeeping firms. 1. Prefer bookkeeping only (not tax or audit within the firm – though ok if firm contracts tax, audit), 2. Ideally, the owner/seller would stay involved (following purchase) as a consultant for 3 to 6 months, 3. I currently have a multi-state EA practice where I prepare all personal, and business returns for clients as well as deal with IRS and certain States on various lien, levy and penalty matters. So, I am looking to integrate another SC firm preferably into my practice. An ideal acquisition would be any firm with 100 to 250 clients. I would consider a partnership with eventual buyout from other partner over time.
