We are a $3.5M/year CAS focused accounting firm and are looking to sell our tax work so we can focus on the CAS side. The tax work is $180K/year. The breakdown of the returns are: Form 1040: 90 returns @ $112K ($1250/average) Form 1065: 11 returns @ $20K ($1,850/average) Form 1120: 4 returns @ $6,700 ($1,675/average) Form 1120S: 14 returns @ $40K ($2,900/average) Looking to sell post April 15. Flexible on the terms but the right fit is important. Having a presence in Metro DC goes a long way since most clients are local. The practice is all virtual. Under 10 returns come in via mail. Canopy is the online portal used for data collection/sharing and ProSeries is the tax return preparation software.
