Overview - ABA Advisors represents this tax, bookkeeping and accounting practice which is located in the southeast area of Charlotte, NC. The seller requires the buyer to be a CPA or EA and wishes the buyer to occupy the current office space or have an office within a 5-mile radius. Owner is a CPA and is open to remaining on board as an employee of the company for one to two years.

The Practice - The practice began in January of 1992 with only the seller and an office manager. Seller bought the practice from the prior accountant, consisting of approximately 120 personal and business clients. The practice has since grown to include the owner and 5 employees with approximately 500 individual personal returns and 100 business clients including Schedule C Sole Proprietors. Client base comprised of mostly residents and business owners, and some out-of-state clients. Some businesses are “mom and pop” type of clients, and others are multi-million dollar annual income business clients.
